*Note - only the first of the set of three is currently available. The final two are in production and will be released as they are completed.*
These lamps are inspired by the traditional Japanese shoji lamps found in traditional Japanese architecture. All of the joinery is hand cut and the materials are meticulously selected to find the most beautiful grain. They are perfect for lighting a romantic dinner, or as upscale mood lighting with a zen flare.
The lantern structure is made from American black walnut which contrasts beautifully with the bass wood used to make the patterns for the screens. The screens are backed with shoji paper, commonly called rice paper, which lets through a soft warm light while being completely opaque.
The lamps measure 7 1/2”x5”x5” and can be used with real or artificial candles.
